System Requirements

• Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac supports host an operating system which is an intel powered Mac running Mac OS Xv10.4 “Tiger” 10.4.11
• Parallels Desktop 7 requires processor of 64-bit. Higher Intel- based Mac required / Intel Core 2 Duo.
• Parallels Desktop 7 requires hard drive space of 700 MB for the installation of Parallels Desktop, in addition to the space which is required to be allocated to virtual machine (For the switch to Mac Edition 1.4GB)
• Parallels Desktop 7 requires any select features or online updates then an Internet connection is a must.

The Hardware requirements of Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac requirements are:

• 2 Duo Intel Core, Core i5, Core i3, Core i7, or it can be a Xeon processor should be available in a Mac computer.
• Parallels Desktop 7 requires RAM of 2GB (4GB of ram is advised to run Windows 7 in a virtual machine or if it is Lion as the host)
• The boot volume should have at least a minimum 500 MB disk space (Macintosh HD) for the installation of Parallel Desktop.
• Each virtual machine should have a disk space of about 15 GB

Please Note that this version of Parallels Desktop does not support Tiger v10.4.x Mac Operating systems. To procure more information about Mac OS X version, processor type and memory requirement please choose about This Mac from the menu options of Apple.

The PC requirements are as follows:

• Processor requirements are 700 (or higher) MHzx86 or x64 (AMD or Intel).
• Minimum of 256 MB or more RAM.
• Minimum requirement of hard disk space is 50 MB for installation of Parallels Transporter Agent.
• For migrating over network there is a requirement of either WiFi network adapter or ether-net.
• For migrating USB port is required which will use the USB cable.
• Linux and windows versions are supported. The supported versions are windows vista, windows XP, windows 7, windows server 2003, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, Ubuntu Linux8.04 & Windows 2000.
